Responsible for design, architecture, implementation, maintenance, and security of entire network and all servers therein. This included physical and logical levels as well as planning and implementation of network upgrades at all sites enterprise wide.

based LDAP directory authentication system for corporate environment.
¥ Researched, specified, purchased,
installed and configured IPSEC VPN with 2 factor token based authentication,
for use with field employees; VPN includes support for Mac OS (Classic and X),
Linux, and MS Windows.
¥ Implemented disaster preparedness
procedures, including power generation-40kw diesel automatic standby generator,

at gateway level, protecting internal network from viruses and malware. As a
side effect also filtered out spam/junk mail. Entire project was implemented at
zero software cost and extremely low hardware cost.

source network monitoring system, comparable to HP OpenView, zero software cost
and virtually zero hardware cost-rack mount case was the only purchase.
¥ Implemented IPSEC VPN for remote
office facilities, tying them seamlessly into the corporate network.
¥ Implemented BIND/DNS/Webmin solution to replace aging Cobalt Linux DNS servers and the attendant GUI. Solution included rsync and custom shell scripts to modify BIND files for use on different machines and network segments.
